Broadly, she works in the area of talent management, but specialises in assessment, personal development, training, competency modelling, 360-degree feedback and performance management. Before setting up her own consultancy, Debbie headed up the Global Assessment Practice for the Willis Group, leading talent management projects in the UK, Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
Debbie is a Chartered Psychologist, recognised by the British Psychological Society and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. She is an Associate Fellow of the Division of Occupational Psychology within the BPS and has been a Board Member of the Association for Business Psychology since 2007; initially serving as Company Secretary, then Chair of the External Engagement Group and currently as Minister for Fun.
Debbie’s particular interests are identifying and nurturing high potential, engagement, the transition from expert to leader, the power of feedback, the application of positive psychology principles to the workplace and helping HR teams to have more impact. Debbie has been an Assessor for the ABP Awards since their inception and was on the panel of judges in 2016.
She is trained to use a number of psychometrics some of which include Strengths Insight, Culture Fit, Decision Styles, OPQ, Wave, NEO-PIR, Lumina Spark, 16pf, FIRO-B, MBTI, HDS, and CPP.
